We need your Peoplesoft Payroll skills to primary responsibility is to provide functional support for a governmental Time &amp; Labor, Payroll, HR, Benefits and other related applications by working with a team of functional and technical analysts to support HR/Payroll systems. Qualifications: * A minimum of five years working in a functional/business analyst role supporting large payroll systems. * A minimum of three years of operational experience with Peoplesoft HRMS 8.0 or more recent version with at least one year of experience with Peoplesoft HCM v8.9, supporting Payroll functionality. * A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, data processing or a closely related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * Working knowledge of project management principles and techniques. * Advanced knowledge of automated systems testing procedures, data conversion analyses, transaction processing and troubleshooting application. * Advanced knowledge of HR/payroll business practices, work flow analysis, business systems design, and process re-engineering. * Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (with particular emphasis on Excel, Project, and Visio). * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently. * Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communications, making presentations before groups and committees, and working and/or leading effectively and cooperatively with other staff and County officials. * Demonstrated skill in analysis and problem solving including determining priorities, producing fully developed quality recommendations to decision makers if escalation is required. * Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of best practices in quality customer service.
